Transducer on trolling motor

Hey fellows I just bought a used elite 7 hdi but it didn't come with instructions on mounting the downscan transducer to the trolling motor. I'm wondering if I need a bracket or something. I can't find any info on the lowrance website or youtube. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not at all familiar with Lowrance, but if all you need is the mounting bracket, give Johnny @ DJ's Marine Electronics a call. He'll hook you up.

I just mounted one. You do need the trollimg motor bracket. Which Johnny has. I run the Johnson omc trolling motor which is shorter
Than current motors from prop to fin. I did not have enough room so mine hangs off the back further than would like it to but it still works fine....

Lowrance makes a cup used for attaching the HDI transducer to the trolling motor; I have them in stock at the shop Bobby

If they make one for that model, the Transducer Shield & Saver Company makes excellent trolling motor mounts.

I installed an elite 5 HDI on my bow and bought the trolling bracket at Fish N Fun. The transducer is pretty protected in the bracket. I have mine on a Minn Kota.
