I have a 2007 Bass Tracker (Aluminum) The transducer will work fine, untill
you take off and then you lose a signal..So I mounted it inside the hull using
Lowrance epoxy. I sanded the transducer and hull just like they said to do.
I also cleaned everything like they said to do. It still does about the same thing.
I also stopped and pulled the plug out and let water in the hull to cover half the
transducer......Didn't help
Can somebody tell me what to try....Thanks in advance

Lowrance X47TX

Don't think it will work inside aluminum hull, if you mount again outside make sure its not to deep in water or you will get turbulance, and to high it wont read at higher speeds. Try mounting on the off center the drivers side with the xducer just below the bottom of the hull. Good luck.

Thanks.....When I bought the boat (New) The transducer was mounted
like you said to mount it. How to you get a transducer out after you have
used epoxy ??..........Thanks

If you didnt actually buy a high speed transducer it will only read up to about 8 to 10 mph and then lose its signal.

I have the Skimmer transducer. Book says it will work up to 70 MPH.
My boat is running 47 MPH
I had a skimmer on a 20 ft.bullet and it worked at 81 MPH
I see you have the same model tracker I have. Where do you have your
transducer mounted ?....If on the transom......Where
Mine was on the transom when I bought the boat, but it just don't work
when the boat is moving.............Thanks
