I have read that some people use expoy and some people use Silicon to mount there transducer puck in the hull. Can I get some suggestions from members who have mounting a puck in the hull of their boat?. All input will be greatly appreciated. emoScratch

Epoxy is the best way to go,not a hard project and can get reading at all speeds just have to make sure no bubbles under it never tried silicone always done it the factory recomded way

silicone will give air bubbles and you will never get a good reading, if at all, epoxy is best , better yet is a pvc tube epoxy it to hull, and fill with mineral oil, and use a screw on pvc cap it drilling a small hole big enuff to get the end that connects to your LCR, silicone that hole shut, then if and when you upgrade you can just unscrew the cap pull out transducer cable and install new one
