transom saver

Just purchased a 93 Javelin with a 175 Johnson fast strike. I can't get a transom saver to fit because of the angle of the boat that hangs over the end of the trailer. Even tried motor stiks and the angle transom mount with no luck. Any advise on a transom saver that would work? Or should I even use one? If I flip down the factory support my lower will drag the ground going over humps. Any help is appreciated.
