does any one know of a climbing treestand that is rated for 400+lb thanks

I know API use to make a few for bigger people, but not sure of the weight limit. I also heard that tennesssee treewalker does.

Just don't do it.. It is not worth the risk trying to use a Climber. I rather suggest a two person Ladder stand some of which are rated much higher than the weight you mentioned. Ladder stands are actually cheaper than the "Quality" Climbers.. </p>

If you are looking for portable I would seriously give it a thorough thinking through. </p>

Ground Blinds are becoming more popular these days. I have a doghouse type and a fold-up two seater that have been a big part of bagging some good deer.</p>

Nope the summit goliath goes up to 350. Also another consideration is saftey harness. Not sure if they make them that heavy. Screaming eagle brand stands are rated up to 4000 pounds. A 400lb person may have trouble using modern climbers, please nothing offensive meant, but it would be a good idea to shed some weight if you plan on getting into the woods.

Iv'e never heard of one going over a 350 rating. Id suggest a 2- man ladder as well, most are rated at 500 lbs.

Big game has a nice two man ladder stand that I use for me and my kids. The rails are double reinforce for climbing. It was 500 at bass pro shop.
