trim probs

I have a '97 Johnson 150 Fast Strike and the trim has stopped working on the shifter. Will not go up or down. Could this be the button or the relay on the motor? The trim at the front and on the side of the motor works.

If the other 2 are working I`d guess its the switch on the shifter....check the connection first !

They have a connector on most of them. It may have come unplugged. Someone may have also used a different power source for the positive and a fuse may have blown. Look under the console and see if it has a fuse panel, if so look for a blown fuse. Is that all that has quit?

Yes, thats all I have had problems with.

It is more than likely a bad switch. So hard to say without looking at it. That has the most probability of being it.
