Ok so after getting sprayed with trim fluid I have a question...To add fluid to my trim unit on a 175 merc should the engine be trimmed up or down and how much fluid should it hold? I cant find the info anywhere online maybe I just dont know where to look. emoBang

91-back......Raise the engine all the way up and flip up the trailering lever on the port side and let it down on it lightly. SLOWLY remove the cap and rill it with ATF to where it is about 1" from the top and cycle it up and down a few times and check it again. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before you check it again. This will allow the air to raise to the top. </p>
