trip to pickwick lake on Wednesday April 9

I am going to be in West Tn next week. Will have the opportunity to fish with a couple of buddies on Wednesday on Pickwick Lake. Will be putting in at Pickwick Dam --- anyone have any info on what bass or crappie are doing there. I have only been on Pickwick once before. Traveled from the Dam to Indian Creek --- that is all I have seen of the lake. thanks

I've heard that main river shoals below the dam is where they catch the big smallies but that's usually winter or summer fishing from what I've read. Are you looking for smallies or other species? I'll bet you'll be right at home fishing that current down there and might stick a big smallie.
