Has anyone had any mechanical work done at the Triton Dealer in Cleveland TN
I need a water pump impeller changed on a Mercury 150 and the steering checked at on a Triton

I would take it to Fish N Fun if it were me. Everytime I have taken something to Cleveland it has taken a lot longer to get it back than what I was told and one of those times it ended up at fish n fun to get it fixed right!

+1 on what twilson said. I have given Cleveland Boat Center numerous chances to make some work right where they screwed me over. I think I have been lied to by just about everyone that works at that place.

If you're close enough, Bunch Marine up in Harriman is very good choice as well. They are also sponsors here. Good luck!

I use Bunch Marine
And I live in Cleveland

Even when I go in there for a simple part or something easy I always leave with an uneasy feeling

I have done business with the dealer in Cleveland in the past. I dont go there anymore. I am not going to bash a business on here. I would just advise you to go somewhere else to have motor work done. JMHO

I had heard lots of the same, but Cleveland Boat Center agreed to be a tournament for the CATCH Trail. I had a warranty job on a 150 Optimax last spring and they did awesome. I was completely pleased.

Cleveland Boat Center has always done exceptional work for me. I would not take my boat anywhere else. Randy and the folks at CBC are sponsers of many tournament trails in our area and work hard to get fishermen back on the water. Just like all dealerships timing is everything they all have peak periods and get behind.

When Johnson/Evinrude were in bankruptcy CBC would not sell me a pair of coils unless I paid their mechanic to install them.

Their choice.

I haven't bought anything from them in 15 years.

My choice.

My motor was acting poorly, Tuesday, called CBC from water. They said bring it on up, but it was 4:30, so I said I would bring it up Wed. morning. Left it there at 9:00am , got a call at noon, they had replaced a bad coil and I could pick it up anytime. Service was quick and very easy! emoThumbsup emoThumbsup

IF YOU HAVE A RANGER GO TO FISH@ FUN OR THEY WILL PUT YOU AT THE END OF THE LONG LIST, AND WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is sad but true of most any dealership today

Unless you have a prior relationship with that dealer, you will have to wait like any one else

It is important to establish a relationship and use one dealer. Every dealer has a waiting list

At certain times of the year that wait can get pretty long. Spring is always the worst time and with all the warmer weather we are having it doesn't surprise me that the wait times are longer already

I already have a scheduled appointment for my spring service at the end of February and as last year I am sure it will only be there a couple of days

Thanks for the kudos guys!
We do things a little different by scheduling most service but it does work out for much shorter wait times.
We are also the only place that i know of that has 8 techs in the rigging/service dept.
We also try to keep boats inside at night and they are always inside of a secure area during the day. You can leave all your gear in the boat and still have peace of mind.
Give Mark a call and he can schedule basic service on a "while you wait" basis.
