First outing since November. Fished mid morning until afternoon on both days. First day hooked and lost two on holographic colored trap. Finally landed one just under 4lbs in about 3 feet of water....muddy water. Probably the same fish. Missed another, felt like a good one, on a crawdad jig fished with Carolina rig although it was the only bite on that bait. I threw silver buddies, red two tap traps, etc. with no luck. It felt good to hook a few and land one. The next day I had one hit early on a Texas rigged small jig. The rest of the day was zippo. Water temps in PC were 47-49F and both days were sunny. Lots of folks fishing in PC in the middle of the day. PS: DON”T FORGET YOUR SUNSCREEN! My face was sun and wind burned to a crisp.

Congrats on getting bit at least. Was out about 4 hrs on Sat, threw the tackle box and nary a sniff LOL Same story for the week prior. Good news is it can only go up!!
