Water temp was down a couple of degrees this morning at 52F and rising to 53F by 1300. It was mostly sunny and I thought it was going to be overcast. Fished shallow and deeper (to get out of the wind) but it was all pretty dismal. Wind came up at about 1100 which made fishing the flats problematic. Caught one short and missed a couple (I’m sure small) on a small jig. Nothing on jerk bait, different colored traps, square bill. Only fished for 2.5 hours but was hoping for better. Trying again tomorrow but wind is supposed to be higher which will likely keep me in the creek. Good look to all.
