Put in at PC by 0930...was late...ramp was nearly full. Water temp in PC was 52F and quite calm. Threw traps for hundreds of casts and jerk bait...no luck. And then the rain started even though marginally in the forecast. Waugh! Just after the ran started, caught a 6lb 4oz lady in a stump bed on a small plastic jig. Water was still quite stained but when the rain started....appeared to make the difference. After that, the wind kicked up and headed for home. Never bad to end up with a 5.5 pounder.
