Put in at 0900 and went to the channel between SC and PC. Mild wind in the morning but became brisk at 1130 out of the south. Water temp started at 55 and was up to 59F by 1230. As you can imagine, there was quite a bit of current. Level is near full pool and dropping to get on program. Lake was very busy with tournament and others fishing. Water is still very stained from weekend rains/storms. Logs and trees are floating down the river. Couldn’t see the trolling motor foot in the water...and it’s white! Did a lot of fishing but not much catching. Fished deep and shallow but caught the only fish in shallow on plastics. They were all short. Had several hits but they are sort of “one and done” hits. The ones I caught were when I was really making the plastic bait active...very active. Good luck to the kids out of Dayton and all others.

Thanks for the report. I was out there too and that wind became FIERCE and we gave up. Had to dodge lots of floating debris.
