Fished on Monday when the water temp was all the way back down to 59F. Same ole same ole. Four hours of fishing and a bass every thirty minutes or so...mostly keepers with a couple of chunks. Fished in creeks and channel. Today fished solely in PC and fishing was slightly better as well as the size of the fish. Water temp was 66F and overcast/cloudy. Actually started seeing some summer pattern with sizable bass chasing bait fish near the surface which surprised me. Most fish still coming on plastics on the bottom but a couple on square bill crank bait. From 0800 to 1000 I had boated 9 with most keepers and one just over 3 lbs but still no big fish. Wind came up at 1000 out of the south and the bite went cold within minutes. Even a nearby crappie fisherman who had been reeling in one after another lost his bites. I never caught another fish between 1000 and 1200. Both Monday and today saw heavy fishing pressure with tournaments or tournament preps in progress. Good luck to all.
