I have a 56lb minkota 3 weeks old The plastic head cracked anyone know if they are hard to replace?

Are you replacing the top and the bottom of the head? Replacing the top is a breeze, the bottom is harder, you will have to unplug all of your switches and remember where everything goes, take pics, lots of pics to be sure you get everything back like it should be. Look for the hidden screws on the bottom to get the thing apart, most of the time there is around 6. If all else fails, take it to a repair station and let them do it.

if you need someone to fix it or get you some parts john swallows would be the guy for you (ETM) trolling motor repair 423-479-7816
