trolling motor batteries

What size batteries do yall run i have a 24 volt 80lb thrust and just normal fishing conditions i can tell they start getting week in about 5 or 6 hours?

I run the 29 series of batteries. They seem to last longer than the 24 or 27 series.
I don't buy anything special either, just the Ever Start Maxx brand at Wal-Mart.

Everstart, group 29. Mine are going into the fourth year, still all day strong. Run a Maxxun 80#. Next set will be lithium or group 31 AGM, can finally afford them.

Ok thanks yea everything ive read says the everstart maxx 29 are the best thats what i will get

Moving water and weak batteries not a good combination happens to me a lot.

Size 30 or 31's are even better if you have room for them.

I have the 24 volt Fortrexx and can run on spot lock all day with these SLI31AGMDPM, from batteries plus. Not cheap, but well worth it and a 4 year warranty.
