trolling motor help

My 10 month old trolling motor seems to have a problem. I just need to know if its something i can fix, or something i need to have profesionaly done. In reverse it has three speeds, in the fastest speed, it only works if i hold it halfway in between the 2nd speed and 3rd speed?? Any help would be appreciated.emoThanks

You might try using some tuner cleaner or wd-40 on the switch if you can get to it or inside it.
