I have a minn kota 24volt trolling motor 2007. My t/m seems like it is loosing power and the night light on the top is not staying consistent (flickers) My batteries are good. The tech line said it could be a circuit board. But I have to have it tested. Does anyone have any suggestions on who can run a test on this t/m or any info to help?thanks for your time.

may be the switch that you push with your foot or the relay that it connects to always check the part that you use the most they are the first to go out maybe this helps Bo

Depending on how old your boat is there could be some surface corrosion on the TM to battery cables and it's causing resistance and thus low battery current. Use a VOM and check your power cables for volt loss to the TM plug outlet.

Mine was doing something like that and it was the plug. One of the wires had melted inside the plug. You can check your plug (male) first, and then the female. If you take them apart and see sny burn marks or melting it's a good chance that is what it is.
