I've got a Motorguide 52 ft lb, 12 volt trolling motor. It stopped steering. I took the top off and the cables are operating the gear and the shaft going down to the motor is moving. There is something broken or disconnected between the top and bottom. Is this an easy fix and what is the best way to disassemble it? I replaced it with another one that I had and haven't studied it very much. Help and thanks.
