Trolling motor question

Can someone help out here? Im trying to figure out if there is a big difference between a 46lb thrust and a 56lb thrust omc. Right know I have a 67lb brute motorguide and its about to noisy and wore out and I have always like those omc's. If I went to a 46lb omc would it pull as good as my old motorguide 67lb? Its on a 20ft skeeter.

no way 67 is more than 46. and if u fish the river much u will need the extra thrust.just my 6 cents.

I upgraded a 41#omc to a 54# with a new lower unit (motor) ....with good batts it is a pretty good step up from the 41#...has a much larger blade too. pulls my 20 Bullet in wind and current fine on 24v
