I just bought one of the trays from Comfortroll. It is being shipped today. I chose them because it is the only tray that is not made out of plastic, it is aluminum that has a powder coat finish. When I get it, I will take pictures of the mounting as i go along, and give a review of it after I fish with it. I am hoping that this will help my back and knees which are both about shot.

Yeah, I have a buddy who bought the same kit...for the same reason

. He loves it.

Well, I got the tray last week, installed it, and used it a few times......And I love it!!!! It was really easy to install, and only took about 45 minutes. It is powder coated .080 or thicker aluminum. It came with drain line, mounting hardware, and template. I taped the template where I wanted it, checked under the front deck to make sure I was not cutting into any wires or supports. Drilled holes for jigsaw blade to fit through, and cut awayemoEek After fishing with it, I am wondering why I did not do it long ago. Anyone with just a little knowledge of tools can do this project. Tools needed; Jigsaw, drill, 1/2"drill bit, phillips screwdriver or tip for drill, measuring tape, duct tape, flashlight, and the nerve to cut the deck. Here are some before and after pics

Jim, that looks great. Did you mount the pedal inside? or just sit it in there? I may try that if there is room in my boat under the floor. emoThumbsup

Flip, I just let it sit there, it can't really go anywhere. If you want help mounting it, I'll come help you.

If any CFF members need help in mounting a foot tray, let me know. I will help for free.

Would you do all the work and bring lots of beer? emoBigsmile
I may holler at you when I get one, if I see there is room to install it. I believe there is since theres a middle rod box that goes all the way up to the very front. Not sure about the drain though. I need to take a good look at it.
Thanks for the offer.

How much does a tray like that cost ? If it is not real expensive I may won't to invest in one , since I had major back surgery back in 01 it sometimes hurts to much to really enoy fishing all day.

dryhorn2 paid I think $75 + shipping, I have seen them on ebay going for about $70 to $120. emoThumbsup
