I started having trouble with my motor guide last week. Often times it works just fine but probably every 3rd or 4th time I step on the switch it comes on on high speed and wont stop. The only way to stop it is to flip the power switch on the side of the pedal. After that it may work ok for a time or two but then do the same thing. Anyone else had any problem like this before?

I have had some problems similiar to that. More than likely...it's something as simple as corrision. It's not a bad job...to take the wires off the terminals...give them a good brushing with a small wire brush. Hope that helps.

Possible switch is sticking, I have used silicone spray Or small can of spray lubricant and have had great results.
You can take the switch and push it on and off by hand several times, Try it again with power on. should make a big difference.
If the Switch is going Bad you will be right there for removal, Or do the easy thing and Call John Swallows. He is very good.
