John swallows home # is 479-7816. He honest and dont charge a lot. But he is in Cleveland so I dont know if thats what Doc is refering to or not. John has always treated me good.

Only an idiot would send a trolling motor back to the factory rather than drive 30 minutes to a great trolling motor repair guy who is an authorized warranty repair center for each major brand. John Swallows is a great trolling motor guy.

All I can say is Doc must have had a bad exprince at John's house for some reason like Bettlespin said he is a warranty guy for all major trolling motor companys. You will not find a more honest guy. He will not try to sell you something you dont need. Yes it is in Charleston now but it is only 5 miles from where he did live. Im sure it will be cheaper to drive to his house than it is to pay shiping on a heavy trolling motor. Just my .02

John Swallows is the best around ,replaced my bent shaft and is very fair on the price also,has been doing it for years and will have it back repaired to you before a factory even tells you they received it, worth the drive up there and a joy to talk to.Give him a call.

I'm gonna buy another troller but I'll let him look at this one and if it's repairable well then I'll have a spare. John don't play no games and he knows how to fix'em if they can be, I had several in the past that I thought about dropping in the river and he has got them back in top shelf condition.</font>
