Someone please explain to me, why we dont support troop deployment ? I seen Good ole Wamp on the news the other day we need to bring the troops home. It seems if he still had his girlfriend Bush he was saying something different. I do agree we need to bring our troops home. We should of never invaded Iraq and took care of business along time ago in Afghanistan. Remember we supported Iraq and Iran In the last few decades. If we dont support our troops their lives are at risk. If we stay over too long we have to sell America like Russia did and be like them and give the confederates their dream split america up like they wanted. Think about the Russia use to be one now their are many countries. Definitely we should support our military they didnt start this mess. Republicrats should unite. God bless America.

Easy. Lie like hell to the general public and convince the weak minded Americans that you were totally against the war from the jump. Primise and convince enough folks that you will start bringing the troops home the first month in office in order to get elected and then be better at the Bush/Chaney war plan than they ever were. Simple huh?

He didn't lie, he said he was going to increase the number of troops to Afghanistan during the debates, and they have been with drawing troops in Iraq like he said, which would be up to Gates. He has done what he pretty much said he would do. Watch the debates again. Weak minded Americans, yes they are all tuned into Fox News and Rush.

You label people weak-minded, yet you cannot spell the word "withdraw". And for the record, it is not Gates, it is Obama. Obama is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces. It is also Obama who waited all this time for additional troops to Afghanistan, which did nothing but give the enemy time to build up their forces while Obama was doing whatever. Between Gates, who was appointed by Bush and is definitely weak at his job, and the other "Czars", Obama has really surrounded himself with some of the biggest nitwits imaginable.

Not everybody, glad you joined the crowd.

Afghanistan is a hell hole. We won that war after about the first 3 months we were there. Somehow the strategy changed from destroying Alqaeda and punishing the Taliban to nation building.
