OK, madd dog posted some pics in the for sale forum of his bow and some of his trophies for me, and since churly posted pics of his mount he recently got back, as well as FA, i thought it'd be cool to see some other folks trophy rooms.
here's a link to my folks house in TN. i'll get some better pics of the entire room so you can piece it together when they send them to me. i only have 2 of the heads in that room, the light horned tall and wide 8 above the small table, and one of the TX deer that are close together (the far one). the rest are dad's. the mulie came from the hoback mountains in SW wyoming, and the elk from near meeker, CO, the northwest corner. all the deer come from our lease in TN, 'cept the 2 from TX. all my antler plaques are in storage at the moment, so no pics of those. my bear skull is on top of the gun safe in one pic i think.

i have a wonderful mother who lets dad decorate the den.

WOW .. those are some impressive items Coop!!! All the mounts are beautiful. I was wondering why the cat on the safe had such a red nose? The bear skull is awesome. I hadn't noticed it the first time but went back and found it. :)

I think your dad's room is cool and your mom is cool for not fussing about it.

Thanks for sharing ..

thanks. i promise i'm not starting this thread to say hey look at how good i am! its interesting to me to get to 'know' the poeple on here a little more. and pictures of the home is a good way i think to do that if you're only contact is a website. when i get them i'll put up pics of my mom's dogs too, they are her kids now that me and my sis have moved out.

Ha .. Cooper you don't have to do a thread for bragging about how good you are .. we already know you are good at what you do regarding hunting and fishing because of your numerous posts. :) I'm sure many folks envy your talent. Me for one!

I know how your mom feels. My dogs are certainly my kids. I know lots of people think its terrible to put "pets" in such high regard ... but I'm the one that scoops their poop .. so I don't feel you have the right to say anything about that until you are coming over to be the pooper scooper! :)

I wouldn't trade my dogs for anything. Anyway .. let's see some more pictures!!! I love looking at folks pics ... no matter what they are of. I agree this forum gives you an opportunity to connect to people you want to know better.

How's DC?

Cooper is an excellent hunter, but I'll spank him (not figurtively) on the water :)

Hey man... let me know when you go home home again, I'd like to drive up and have a Busch Light with my hero and legend Tony Cooper.

TT, also... thats not a bear skull. Its more like a house cat skull. Actually it might be Winnie the Poo's skull, or even Teddy Ruxpin

bprice is just jealous he' not man enough to hunt something that can hunt him. and i'll be in huntsvegas this weekend for brent's memorial sat-monday

Hey, Coop.... It ain't bragging if you can do it...remember that.... as for the pictures....SWEET...

That 47 lb bear wouldn't stand a chance against me. I've had dogs bigger than that cub! :) :)

I'll be in Knoxville this weekend but back for Brent's memorial, lets have dinner Sunday night or something.

wow. so you've lifted a weight or two i take it.

LOL... Mr. Cooper.... you have obviously never met FF. Hope you can come to the picnic this year. I would say FF has lifted a weight or two! LOL or three or four.....

FF, that is quite impressive....what bait do you use to catch um with??? flippen stick??? J/K of course...

I know that is from years of hard work... FA

LOL......I've lifted a couple weights in my days. The sad thing is over the years I have caught some really nice fish, shot ducks, geese and deer but just never seemed to have spare money and a trophy at the same time!emoBawl I sure do envy folks like FA and the others but also have a huge amount of respect for the work it took to put those trophies on the wall. I really wish I would have had some of mine mounted like the other guys on the forum but at least I have the memories of bagging them. As for the weight lifting I can honestly say I have NEVER gotten into the steriod thing and that makes everything I win a source of pride for me. I'm creeping up on 50 years old and can still bench over 400lbs, squat over 450 and military press 315. Not bad at all for someone drug free. Now if I can just break 10 lbs on a big ole bass I'll be happy!
