Well my girlfriend and ally DarbDani have set a date to go bank fishing. We're going Sunday morning. I plan to get a bucket of minnows and my fishing tackle box with floaters, crappie lures and a few other things together and head out.
My question, my normal stomping grounds is over near Wolftever and 58 Slough, however with the threadfin kill and the fish and birds are having banquets daily, I don't feel I would be very productive.
Does anyone know how the crappie (main targeted fish) are doing over by Booker T. Washington State Park? Or would I be better off heading up to Skull Island and fishing some of Tileman's tree placement work?
This is the first time my DD friend has fished a Tennessee waterway .. I want to make it the best experience possible. I'm open to other possibilities too if some of you fishery people have suggestions. I haven't been out bank beating this year yet.
Whatcha all think?
