Well after nearly 20 years of frying turkeys I decided to cook one today on my new Primo grill/smoker. 12 pound bird rubbed with Tony Chachere's and bacon under the breast skin. Turned out good as the wife and kids said it was the best turkey they ever had. Sweel potatoes were good too.

That's a good looking bird Cheez, looks like the meat was starting to pull away from the bone in the legs, that is a good indication of being done on any meat with a bone. Do you like the new grill/smoker? Have you tried anything else on it yet?

The Primo is the best cooker on the market IMO.. Glad to see you are enjoying your purchase Cheez.. the bird looks delicious

Im so jealous I want a primo or a big green egg but I am waiting until we move. I hope you enjoy your new cooker.

Doc I have done steaks, ribs and burgers on the new grill. ALL were better than good.
A week from Sunday we will be having our Christmas banquet at church. Normally I feed the good folks fried turkey. This year I will be feeding them some Primo "fried" turkey. Might even throw on a butt or two for grins.

Craig before you go buy a green egg you need to come see this Primo. It is better in more ways than I can say. Might even cook you something. :)
