You need to get out and kill that 'yote as fast as you can. If you like harvesting animals off your land that is. He will eat very well once the new fawns hit the ground. For a wild dog that spells tender and helpless. They hit turkey numbers hard as well. Not good for a property that you are trying to manage if that is the case.

Yotes aren't stupid, that's what makes it challanging. But where there's a will ther's a way.

Cool photos! Coyotes are a predator of wild turkeys, but nest predation from the many smaller predators do the most harm. Good news is with good habitat turkeys do just fine often renesting. Of course the coyote population produces even more young when it's population declines by breeding more often. Isn't it wonderful how nature works when we let it.
