Most hens are bred out and the gobblers were hammering hard on my place on the plateau. last weekend called in 4 gobblers for a buddy who hharvested one and got to hear at least 5 other long-beards sing all day!
I am surprised at the lack of Turkey reports here! Surely you guys have been on them?!

After a tough year it payed off yesterday.

Looks like PC birds to me! congrats!. I only tagged one gobbler this year but called in a bunch and had a ball chasin them. I left the farm yesterday with about 5 gobblin in a pack, all they did was lead me a around the mountains gobbling as they walked away! BTW-the snakes are out!

Great looking gobblers there Fluke ! I had a great time chasing them this year but it was a strange season after that bad frost . Lost 11 lbs. running all over those Macon County hills !
