There are several shops to buy bows from but good luck getting a good tune job at most of them. I shoot a lot of 3D Archery tournaments in local and national shoots. I learned when I started getting serious into it, that I had better learn to start tuning and tweaking my own equipment if I wanted it done halfway right. I liked olé Turk when he had the store but the new guy that took it over...we'll I went in to shoot the new BowTech bows one day and actually really liked one of the bows I shot. But the cold shoulder routine I got helped me decide real fast that I wouldn't be buying a bow from him. And I didn't. I found the same bow a few hundred dollars cheaper somewhere else and got it.
If you guys are near Dayton there's a good shop called The Harvest that sells a few name brand bows, including Elite. I go shoot their 3D shoots. There is a new place over on Spring Creek Rd in Cleveland that sells a couple brands too. They seem like good guys to buy from. Not sure about their tuning work though. I shot the New Elite bows there and they were really friendly. If you want a Mathews, Jeff at Benton Shooters is your goto guy for them. He knows more about tuning the Mathews bows than anybody around. And they have the ASA Pro/Am wins to back it up. I'm not a Mathews fan but if I were to buy one, that would be the place.
