Tva environment checks????

Anyone know what tva is up to there were tires everywhere on the lake Tuesday with tva environment services marked on them and they were checking it all day! What are they up to now that he grass is growing the lake is booming are they going to step in kill it and destroy the fishery

I saw those all over the place yesterday, I wondered what they were. There were 4-5 around Sequayah

I checked with Media Relations folks at TVA. They told me, "It's our understanding these markers are related to some field studies on river temperatures. They are temporary and will be removed in the near future after the testing period."

Are you talking about the tires with yellow paint on them? I was out Friday night and seen them every where with lights blinking.

Friday there were several boats idling around near Sequoia with an arm on the side holding a probe in the water. Looked like a GPS receiver at the top of it.
