Anyone might know where I might find archives of the TVA dams prior to flooding the lakes? I have some b&w pics on the Chick but would like to find more.

That would be too cool. I would love to see how the dam really works from the inside. I know team-d works on all the dams in TN. I wonder if I can get a tour?

One of my buddies who worked there for 15 yrs said that Sept 11 changed all that. Telling me when I posed the question of a tour of the inside, that the gates used to be open and school groups used to go for field trips. But those jihadists changed that for us... If you guys get a tour, I think it would be very educational and COOL to see the guts of a structure I sit within reach of for so many days.

Call TVA Maps Division,The chatta Bass Club had them to pull us the Original land maps of the entire systen and print them .Our Memeber,as I Bought them. I still have part of my set .They show Everything from contours to Original Corner markers of property,Bridges Ditches and entire contents of property.
