Put in at HB at 8.30 wed morning {when you are seventy yrs old you don't like getting up early ] and fished till about 2.30. Lost count after about fifteen fish { short term memory also gone } but probably caught around twenty five or so topped by a 7 lb 4 oz female with a red tail that was in about four feet of water next to a large stump. Best five around 19 lbs out of approximately 10 keepers. Went back Thursday morning from 7.30 till 1.30 and decided to fish some areas close to the dam. I only had sixteen fish Thursday with a 4 lb LM and a 3 lb SM being my two largest fish. Best five around 14 lbs. I caught one SM, one LM and one yellow perch on sb crank and the rest were caught on shakey hds and Tex rig plastics. Green pumpkin and black were the best two colors. Most fish caught in four to six ft. of water. And yes I do have a pic of the 7lb 4oz fish and will text to someone if they want to post.

That's a great day when you can sleep late, avoid the weekend crowd, catch numbers and size, and still make it home in time for a nap. Congratulations on the great day and I look forward to the photo of the big girl.

Sounds like some fantastic fishing. I just hit 52 and when the rain set in this weekend my ankles locked up! I covered the Bassmaster event for East Ridge News, then went fishing, rain rolled in... could Hardly stand most of Sunday.
