TWRA App check in

Hey guys, I have a dumb question.

I got back into deer hunting last season after being away from it for many years. I’ve downloaded the TWRA app, but am unsure how the mobile check-in works. Do you still have to take the deer to a physical check-in station? Does the app give you a tag to print out? Like I said, dumb question I know but don’t want to be wasting time trying to figure out the process if I have a deer down.

Any help from folks who have used the app to check-in game would be great

You don't have to take the deer to a check in station. Once you check your deer out on the app it gives you a confirmation number. No tag or anything. If you take it to a processor or get stopped that confirmation number is all they need.
