The idea to eliminate the 3-inch antler rule for deer hunters didn't start with TWRA biologists originally. However, in spite of complaints about the new rule, they're in no hurry to go back to the old way. They recommended that regulators keep things as they are. The final vote by wildlife commissioners will take place in Dayton, Tennessee, May 23-24.
