Here's the info from Matt Majors about the Fish Attractor Project mentioned in this thread: http://www.chattanoogafishingforum.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=6273&posts=27
Mark your calender now!

We have settled on January 13th, 2007 (Saturday) for our fish attractor project. We should have quite a few trees but if any of the volunteers have trees to bring or can get some in addition to what I get, tell them to bring them. Lets meet at the Booker T Washington State Park at 9:00 a.m.at the boat ramp. We will have a couple of boats but if a few of the volunteers want to bring one that is fine. If they have extra materials or trees have them bring it....we may use it. I should have everything we need to secure the trees to the docks....just some extra hands ready to work. When we get done, whatever trees are left.....the volunteers can have.

That is 3 minutes from my house and I already have it marked on my calendar.emoGeezer

If you are looking for more trees, don't forget Home Depot and Lowes, hit them tomorrow and ask for any left overs including wreaths, they usually have quite a few and are very willing to get rid of them.

Fishing Fire and me will be there. Do we have any idea how many boats we'll need? Do we need to go ahead and bring ours and just have it there in case it is needed?

That's a tough question to answer. It will all depend on how many trees get left over for us.emoScratch Any that you might want to load up would be much appreciated.

Richard, How deep is the ramp at BT. I've got a 26' pontoon boat that can carry a few trees around. If I can get it in the water.
I don't know... I've been to during summer level, but not suring winter levels. You can always e-mail Matt Majors and ask... [email protected]

I've got a conflict too, Fat Albert. Hope we can get forgiveness. Give them crappies a good place to make babies guys.emoSorry

I sure wanted to help. Matt is a frtiend of mine and I would be proud to help. Problem is, it is scheduled on the last deer hunting weekend. You guys know that this is the first season in about thirty years that I did not pull the trigger on Shooter Bucks. Let too many go in the early season. But my son is hunting this weekend. I feel that he will feed us this year.
