Greetings from the Ocean State. So the ocean fishing has been very slow since I got in to the blues a few weeks ago, so I have been fishing the lakes behind the house, and some lakes in CT with my boss. We have fished in 2 tournaments and won money in both with 1st place 5 fish, 8.9 lbs, then 3rd place, 5 fish , 8.8 lbs. So that tells you how the bass fishing is around here. He said there was a tournament a few weeks ago that someone won with 3 lbs. It is so different running around in a 2012 Stratos on 100 acres lakes that are 7 ft deep. So the fishing behind the house is different. We were killing them on pink plastics, then that stopped, so I threw a crappie jig on one day and caught 5 fish back to back. I had a bunch of pickeral just killing a Bass pro brand senko in bubble gum, but they kept missing the hook. Bit the worm in two and starting pulling them in, good times. You can see from some of the action shots how Alive these pickeral are. The bass around here pull like they are double their size, its fun. Ill post some more pics later, gotta draft my fantasy team soon.
