SO I have really been thinking about fishing since yesterday, I mean bad, so I told myself if I get done what I need to get done by 5, i'll make a quick run. Called Adam since he called me yesterday wanting to go. He had to buy a license again, and we finally left my house around 5:30, got to Sullivans around 5:50 my guess. So I'm sitting on the boat getting put in the water and someone says "Tyler Ware ??" yeah I say. Who are you. Peepah he says -I think, sorry if i am wrong, I broke the muffler on my diesel this week, and it is kinda loud. But I must say thanks to this gentleman, very nice and he told me a particular place to go, I don't have a clue where to fish on the Nick. Today was the first time I have ever caught a bass on the lower end of the Nick, I think. I might have caught one. Also the first time I have ever caught a fish on a rattle trap. This was one that I bought over the weekend. I actually caught two bass today, I am moving up. No keepers, both 14". Caught them on back to back cast, gotta love that. Really feels good to catch a bass when I am trying to. Water temp was up to 61F where I was. Fish caught about 2- 3 ft of water. maybe less, 2-3 where the boat was, I was casting toward the shore. I got a photo but it mainly shows the boat, so if you don't know what the inside of the monarch looks like, here you go. Adam had only caught 1 bass in his life so he is not the best fisherman friendly camera man.
