Ughh...New Vols Fan was born today.

Well, I moved to TN back in 95 from Sarasota, FL and have had a deep hatred for Vols football until today. My neighbor directly across the street while I was growing up was Pat Kelly who played briefly in the MLB, and then went on to coach minor league, AAA ball for a couple different teams. He is still coaching today as well. Anyway, I just got a call today from my mom telling me Pat and Becky's youngest son Casey was offered a full ride in Baseball AND Football, by non-other than the dreaded Volunteers of Knoxville, TN. As Becky was so good to my mother over the years, and my families friendship with this family outweighs the aforementioned hatred, and I will now be pulling for the Vols as much as it pains me. I guess, I now bleed orange....  </p>

No Pat was around 78 or so? I had the card as well years ago when I still collected. It was one of the cards with two or three guys on it if I remember right. </p>

I think Casey will be a great pick up.  He seems to be a great kid from what i read about him.  He's got his work cut out for him competing for time at QB.  I think he might turn into a Todd Helton.  Which would be great for him!
