UMF on Chickamauga

I took the Grandkids out today for their first fishing trip. We put the boat in at Grasshopper and headed down river a short distance. On the way back up river we got passed by the Ultimate Match Fishing boat and two of their chase boats. I would have loved to run them down and follow them but the Grandkids didn't want to go fast enough to do that. The UMF crew was headed north towards Hiwassee Island the last time we saw them. Now I have to record the shows to see how they did. As for the Kids first fishing trip, no one got hooked so I guess that is one good thing. We didn't catch any fish. They wanted to boat ride and eat more than fish. They did manage to throw two rods and reels in the lake. I managed to get one out of the water but we left one in Sale Creek. They wore me out and I am going to go take a nap. See ya later.

UMF comes on Outdoor channel. 606 on direct tv. It usually comes on sometime in late spring or early summer.
But as they say check your listings.

No the rod was an Ugly Stick and a spin cast reel. I did know enough to leave the good stuff at home.
