Update on hull hole....

took the boat back to the dealership on tuesday am for the repair....that eve I got a phone call for a status report. They have taken the boat to a local fiberglass repair shop for expert work, and although the boat is not finished yet, I should expect it to be completed late wednesday pm.

Just a simple phone call to let me know what is going on, and when I could expect the finished product.

It seems so easy and yet too many businesses seem to struggle with that type of follow-up. As the consumer, I appreciated the update. Will post back with repair results.

Sounds as if they are trying to make amends.

Just make sure all the moisture gets out of the hull before they fix it. If not then sealing it up is a big mistake

Just picked the boat up - custom fiberglass (?) did a GREAT job. Could not find original hole location if there was a gun to my head. Glad to have that incident behind me. The dealership was apologetic, and I am looking forward to enjoying the new beast of a trolling motor whose installation started this whole (hole) ordeal.

My thanks to the dealership for going the extra mile to have the work done out of house by a real professional.
