As i posted earlier this week, my fiance's coworkers son has been diagnosed with cancer....here is an update

Thanks to all of your for your prayers (from Misti). They got to St. Judes Children's hospital on Friday ran some more tests, found out that Drew has Burkett's Lymphoma. Lymphoma is not only contained within the lymph nodes but can also spread to other places in the body. It has officially spread to one of his kidneys but not to the bone marrow which, had that of been the case, the prognosis would not have looked so good. They will look tomorrow to see if it has gone to his spinal column and/or brain. Prayerfully this will not be the case. Treatment will be about four months, all at St. Judes in Memphis -- starting tomorrow, first round of chemotherapy. Misti says that she hasn't had the heart to tell him he's going to lose his hair because he hasn't wanted her to cut it for the last several months! Shes just going to let it happen and reassure him that it will grow back. She and her husband are somewhat relieved because it could have been a lot worse but thankfully, God allowed the MDs to catch it before it had completely overtaken his little body. Drew, at this point, is most concerned with the whereabouts of his Pokemon game and the latest greatest cartoons on the TV. He knows a little bit, that he is sick and might get sicker. But thats it for now. As more is known, I'll let you know. This doesn't mean you can stop praying
