Update on the thumb

Well, for those wondering, the thumb that I tried to remove with the table saw is doing much better. All the stitches are out, the bandages are gone, and it looks like a thumb again. It isn't sensitive to touch but pressure still hurts it a bit. Luckily other than the first trip to the ER, it needs no surgery and I can still use it 100%. I'm also not taking pain killers anymore, just antibiotics to keep infections away. I'm thinking I'll be fishing again later this week, after it warms up again.

So I'm in a much better mood!

Doubleb try to keep the fingers out of the saw blades from now on.

Glad your O.K.!I missed the first post about this but I can tell you that my table saw scares the berjeses out of me everytime I use it!Did you see that episode of this old house where the were showing the table saw that would instantly shut itself of when the blade detected moisture( i.e. blood)they ran a hotdog into it and the blade stopped just barely scratching it.
