Update on water pressure problem

Got the boat back on the water for the 1st time since getting the powerhead gasket replaced. Looks like that fixed the problem. I made several short runs and a 20 min run and pressure held at 16 to 20 pounds the whole time. It was only holding 5 to 8 before. Don't know what all else a bad gasket would have affected but really seemed like i had more power from take off all the way thru top end.

It could have been dumping water in the exhaust at the top, this would have effected the exhaust pulses of the engine. Even though that is where the water ends up just at a different area.

Glad she is doing good!! Now the question is why did it blow on such a new engine???
