UPDATED** Gen273 Series schedule (Sundays - Chester Frost), Bass Boat Grand Prize, A-Rig Ruling
----------------------EDITED for Registration
-Early Registration for each event will be held at Island Cove Outdoor Center. Registration is open Wednesday to Wednesday leading up to the tournament. For example, registration for the first event would normally be open Wednesday, March 22nd, to Wednesday, March 29th. For the first event I'll make an exception and keep it open until close of business Friday, March 31st.
-Teams who pre-register during the early registration period will be put into the early boat drawing. It will be done by Excel randomization and will always be posted no later than Friday morning, two days before the tournament. It will be posted to both the website and the Facebook page. Since I run a pretty lean crew, this format gives me time to get everything in order without having to rush the night before.
-Late registration at the boat ramp the morning of the tournament is allowed, and there is no late registration fee. You'll just be added to the back of the early registration boat order, in the order of late registration.
-Beginning the SECOND tournament of the season (May 7th), current members will have the option to register online via PayPal. The PayPal transaction fee will be added this year, so the online registration fee will be something just shy of $83. This option will ensure that you get into the early boat drawing if you cannot make it to Island Cove Outdoor Center. You must still register online by the Wednesday evening deadline.
-Our tournaments run safe daylight to 3pm. If there is a weigh-in time change it will be noted through every avenue possible prior to the tournament, and will also be discussed before launch.
-You're not required to have a youth team member. It's just an incentive to get your favorite younger fishing buddy out there on the water with you.
-CLASSIC QUALIFICATION: You must fish all four events to qualify. Teams are allowed one DNF with ENTRY PAID if neither the boater nor the co-angler is able to fish the event. Let me reiterate: you must register for all 4 events to qualify for the classic.
-Teams are still welcome to fish single events, but membership purchase is still required. It's still a good series to participate in even if you're not interested in fishing the classic, or can't fish it because of other obligations
All other questions, feel free to ask.

Here it is. The 2017 Gen273 Series, presented by Island Cove Outdoor Center:
Sundays, Chester Frost Park:
-April 2
-May 7
-June 25
-July 30
-Classic: August 19-20
Classic Grand Prize: Tracker Boats Pro Team 175 TXW boat/motor/trailer with 60 HP Mercury 4-stroke, provided by our long-time partners at Island Cove Outdoor Center.
http://www.trackerboats.com/boat/motors.cfm?boat=3880
Membership and Entry:
-Annual membership is $35 per adult; Free membership for high school anglers and younger
-Entry fee is $80/boat. This includes $10 Big Fish.
-Highest 3 placing high school or youth anglers in each regular season event will receive Bass Pro Shops gift cards.
A-Rigs will be allowed this season. Please understand this: the original ruling was never intended to discriminate any one group of anglers. The conversation isn't polarizing and exhausting today like it once was for many tournament directors. The smoke has cleared for all of us, and we can move on.
The website is changing hosts and won't be up for several more days. You'll have access to the full list of details once it's back up.
I want to give a huge thanks to Island Cove Outdoor Center for making another season possible. The series would not exist without them and their continued support.
Looking forward to another great season.
