Ok I have a 2000 Sprint 207DC with mold on the seats. I have tried about 4 different products to no avail. I mean they do some cleaning but the stains are not coming out completely! I am looking for either someone who knows of a product that will actually work or a person who does upholstery so I can get them redone. The stuff is even on my steering wheel, which I am just going to replace I mean a beige colored wheels isnt the smartest color choice. I keep the boat in a covered soft sided shed so it doesnt just sit out in the rain.. Maybe thats some of the problem as the inside of the shed can get quite humid after a rain since it sits on the ground. I might have to install some kind of vent opening or something. Anyway I need either a GOOD cleaning product or the name of someone who will recover the seats.. Its a standard bench style with the 2 outsides having a small backrest.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If your seats are just moldy get you some Bass Boat Saver! Simply spray it on your seats let it sit for a couple of minutes and then scrub with a soft brush. I promise you it will clean them like new. It also has a UV protectant in it. I have been using it since 2003. It is made for boats. It is made for the entire boat. I spray it on the fiberglass, seats, carpet and the windshield. This stuff is unbelievable. My boat is a 2004 model and still looks like new. I had a friend bring his boat over to have me install some new depth finders he bought. His seats were supposed to be white with a red stripe and red trim. They were mostly green. They were so bad I wouldn't sit in them. We cleaned the seats before we installed the depth finders. He could not get over the results. He just kept talking about his new seats. He was more excited about the seats than he was the depth finders. Bass Boat Saver has a website. It is BassBoatSaver.com If that doesnt work PM me. I have their phone number.

Thanks for the info.. Hey Bullet I see they Fish N Fun in Hixson carries this. You say the boat with the nasty seats, that they were almost green, was there any of the black mold stains on it? Mine are not green but getting the black mold stains. Thanks again for all the info and yes a phone number to the upholstery man would also be good since one of the seat backs is starting to split on me.

You can't kill mold thats comeing from the inside off I'm redoing a pontoon that was doing the same thing.

Thats kind of what I figured.. I could possibly get the stain to disappear but it would keep coming back since it was coming from the inside.. Looks like a trip to the upholstery shop!

Yes the seats were dark green and black. I dont know if you can kill the mold or not but my friend bought some of the Bass Boat Saver when he got home and he still uses it. I talked to him yesterday and the mold has not came back. He said he sprays his entire boat down about once a month, lets it sit for a few minutes and wipes the excess off.
