Upper Chick 11/9 Bass

Got out on the lake around 11am and fished until around 4. Beautiful day, but the fish just weren't biting for us. I think Fishing Fire caught one bream on a rattletrap and I caught 6 spots, 2 largemouths and one meanmouth, none of them keepers. Caught all of my fish on one of RangerRob's chart spinner baits with copper blades. Went into several sloughs and saw bait fish but we tossed everything in the box at them and could not get them to hit! Water is really clear and about 59 degrees

It beats the alternatives. Not getting to go fishing and not catching any fish. Maybe you'll get into some better fish this weekend.

I agree G-Man. It's like taking a mini vacation when you get to hit the water and the weather is nice. You sleep like a baby that night!
