Upper "G" Smallmouth Catch 1

My son and I hit upper "G" for some Smallmouth. We haven't been SM fishing for 3 weeks. We were just happy to catch some. Not a bad day, we fished from 4:00 till 8:00 throwing Senkos and tubes rigged Texas style. We ended up with 5 SM. Best 4 lb. 2 oz and a 3 lb 13 oz the rest were 2 lb. not a great day but still fun. All fish were in 10 to 18 ft.

Beautiful fish! I still love to see those great fish you catch. I wish that the SM in the river below Chickamauga were so accessible. I know that there are lots of good ones down there but I really don't know how/where to fish for them. My boat is stuck up here too in a boathouse so I don't get on the river much. Congrats on your great catches and thanks for sharing them with us!

I have never fished for SM below Chickamauga Dam. I have to believe there are just as many there as Nickajack. It looks like it has some good looking spots for SM.
