We had a very cold start at 6:05 AM leaving Ditto and frozen by the time we got to the Dam. True fully it never warmed up the rest of the day (45 degrees outside & water temp the same) and windy, but out of 36 or so fishermen approximately 26 weighed fish with big fish @ 3+ lbs. Bass biting very slow and soft a lot caught on trick worms - senko's - Pumpkin & Green sit up on a shaky head. By slow I mean about a 20 count before you move it, better have a lot of patience but it can pay off.
I am a transplant from Colorado hence the nick name WalleyeBob, but I am learning. So if I seem a little bit like I lean towards Walleye's and Sauger's please forgive me. I just like to fish no matter what I am catching.
In one of the pictures you will see I caught my first Bowfin boy if that was not a surprise. Coming from Colorado I had no idea what this fish was until I looked it up. When I am fishing my Walleye tactics some times produce some strange things.
