Try this on. I'm in ... piss up or piss off.

Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay
my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to
get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test
(with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the
distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a
welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their
feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting
on their **edited for language** - doing drugs, while I work. . . Can you imagine how much money
each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public
assistance check?

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Pass this along if you agree.

Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!

I absolutely agree. I also feel that there should be a set number of job interviews that take place in order to get money. You should have to at least be willing to try to get a job.

There is laws already in place that are not being enforced. There is a law that was passed "if a person lives in govt housing and recieves govt money IE welfare, if they are caught using drugs or drugs in that govt living quarters they will be kicked out and will not receive any assistance. Also if some one is in that residence that does not live there and gets caught with drugs the tenant still gets kicked out and loses assistance.

It would soon be labled "racial profiling", look at the stats on who is receiving gvt. aid.
It is a great idea, though!

Look at the facts behind the Escalades that people are driving. Think about the interest rates that they are paying on those vehicles? Who is really benefits from the sale? Not the person driving but the banks. The banks finance those vehicles know all the time that they will default on them? As far a the govt aide stats Look at the State of TN and the TennCare program. Ask yourself who benefited from it? That program almost broke Tennessee because it was being abused by whom. Look at the statistics. There is one major corporation that only gives its employees 35 hours per week so they can be classified as fulltime. Which means who picks up the insurance tab? You guessed it State of TN and what was that program called TennCare. How many stores does this chain have across the state? Do the math and you will see who receives the govt benefits.
